Stand Up For Epilepsy 2012
Rádi bychom Vás informovali o připojení občanského sdružení EpiStop k mezinárodnímu projektu „Stand Up For Epilepsy“. Projekt je zastřešen Mezinárodní ligou proti epilepsii – ILAE, vznikl v souvislosti s olympijskými hrami v Londýně, které se budou konat toto léto. Do projektu se zapojují snímky, fotografie, na kterých je vyfocena známá osobnost ze sportovního prostředí spolu s lidmi s epilepsií. První českou osobností ze sportovního prostředí, která se k této akci přidala je český atletický vícebojař Roman Šebrle.

Pracovní skupina tzv. Evropských advokátů pro epilepsii v Evropském parlamentu vytvořila společně s Evropskou komisí Mezinárodní ligy proti epilepsii a Mezinárodního úřadu pro epilepsii Písemné prohlášení o epilepsii.

…Video and Podcast on Epilepsy
The WHO has created an important video and podcast that reports on epilepsy programmes in less developed nations, in particular the Demonstration Project in rural China, as an initiative of the mhGAP project launched in 2008. The video and podcast are available to view and listen to on the ILAE/IBE/WHO Global Campaign website.

Dear Colleagues,
I present to you the new common initiative and directions of development of the joint ILAE and Autism Speaks. I ask you to distribute in your country this attached letter and message and ask anyone who is interested or already working in this area – autism+epilepsy. ILAE-AS Task Force Goals (2010 thru 2013)are presented in the attached material.
IBE: Promising Strategies
IBE vybralo v rámci výzvy „Promising Strategies“ projekt EpiStop „Quality of life in children with epilepsy“ a podpoří ho částkou 4160 USD. Zodpověným členem EpiStop za tento projekt je Mgr. Dana Brabcová. Projekt má za cíl validizovat dotazník Kvality života dětí s epilepsií v ČR, prezentovat dětem i jiné 2 dotazníky a na základě získaných dat vytvořit a publikovat informační leták, brožuru pro rodiče dětí, učitele.
