The European Regional Executive Committee met in Dublin on August 4th to discuss many important issues, including the 13th European Conference on Epilepsy & Society which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia between 4th – 6th September 2013.
We also discussed European Epilepsy Day 2013, and the European Research Forum which will take place in Dublin, next year, during the Irish Presidency of the European Union and which are being organised by the Joint Task Force – Epilepsy Advocacy Europe.
As you may know the 10th European Congress on Epileptology will take place in London between 29th September to 4th October. Will you be in London for this congress? If so, it would be a great opportunity to organise an informal meeting of the IBE European Regional Committee to share ideas on future activities in Europe.
The Joint Task Force – Epilepsy Advocacy Europe is organising a very interesting session at the congress on “What professionals need to know to improve health care and research” on Tuesday 2nd October 15:00 – 16:00. I suggest that we could have our proposed meeting on the same day between 13:00 and 15:00, in advance of this session. We could then resume our meeting at 16:00, if necessary.
I would be most grateful if you could use the Reply to All option when responding to this message, so that a copy is also sent to Áine in the IDM office and to Ann Little at the IBE office to help with arrangements. A response by Monday 3rd September would be appreciated.
