We take this chance to give you a brief resume of the National Coordinator’s Meeting that was held during the last International Epilepsy Congress in Budapest. Dr. Tomson explained where we are in the data analysis for first publication of teratogenic outcome and confirmed that this is now work in progress, and that the review of the classification of malformations has been completed using the EUROCAT classification rules for birth defects.

EpiStop a IBE

Na základě informace ze dne 6.1.2009, která byla doručena EpiStopu od mezinárodní organizace IBE si vám dovolujeme s radostí oznámit, že Občanské sdružení EpiStop se oficiálně stalo přidruženým členem IBE (International Bureau for Epilepsy).

„On behalf of the Secretary General, Eric Hargis, I am writing to advise you that the application for Associate Membership by EpiStop has been ratified by the IBE General Assembly. Congratulations! This means that, with effect from now, EpiStop is entitled to all of the privileges of Associate Membership. This includes receipt of all relevant
correspondence, the receipt of 15 copies of each issue of IE News and an invitation to participate as fully as possible in IBE activities. As an IBE
member based in the European region, your association also becomes a member of the IBE Regional Committee Europe. In addition your contact details will
be included on the IBE website and in the IBE Annual Report. IBE looks forward to working with your association in the coming years. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries.“.
