IBE is now moving forward steadily with plans and arrangements for the launch of European Epilepsy Day in Strasbourg in February 2011. It is hoped that IBE members in Europe will become involved in two aspects of this important launch – by arranging activities within their own country and by having a presence in Strasbourg.
The attached document gives some first information on arrangements for the 1st European Epilepsy Day, including the following:
- Theme and Focus
- Suggestions for local activities
- Planned activities in Strasbourg and information on accommodation for participants
Over the coming weeks and months we will keep you informed as more detailed plans are put in place. However, for the moment, we would encourage you to consider having a representative of your association in Strasbourg and to confirm this as soon as possible to help in finalising hotel rooms. As mentioned in the document, hotel accommodation becomes very difficult to find when the Parliament sits in Strasbourg.
